  • Be a graduating senior at Nandua High School

  • Enroll in an accredited college or trade school for Fall 2026

  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5

  • Be pursuing a career in Business or Education

About The Scholarship

$1,500 Scholarship Award – Class of 2026

The Diane E. Ames Scholarship Fund proudly announces a $1,500 scholarship opportunity for a graduating senior from Nandua High School.

In honor of Ms. Diane Ames—a passionate and lifelong educator—this scholarship supports students who share her dedication to learning and her commitment to building careers in business or education. The ideal recipient will embody the spirit, leadership, and values that defined Ms. Ames’s life and career.

Selection Process
***Important Note***

All applicants must submit the following:

  • Completed Application Form

  • Current high school transcript

  • Resume

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation from a teacher, employer, or community leader

  • 500-word essay on the following topic:

    • “What inspired your interest in business or education, and how do you plan to use your education to make a meaningful impact in your community or industry?”

  • Completed Community Service Form

  • Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or trade school

The Diane E. Ames Scholarship Fund Team will review all eligible applications and select the recipient based on merit, alignment with scholarship goals, and overall presentation.

The scholarship recipient will be notified in May1, 2026.

The scholarship funds will be submitted to the college or trade school.

If the selected recipient does not enroll in a college or trade school for Fall 2026, they will be required to return the scholarship funds.
