Welcome to the Diane E. Ames Scholarship Foundation! Our mission is to provide college support to graduating seniors who aspire to pursue careers in Business or Education. This scholarship aims to continue Ms. Ames’s vision of empowering students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Why Ms Ames?

She dedicated over 37 years to nurturing future leaders through her business education classes in Accomack County Public Schools and Eastern Shore Community College.

She enriched lives through her involvement with the Girl Scouts and the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

Her commitment to lifelong learning and her ability to inspire both young and adult students made her a pillar of the educational community.

Each scholarship recipient will receive up to $3,000.
Scholarships will be awarded to a member of the Nandua High School Class of 2024 and to a graduating senior from all other high schools in Accomack County, Northampton County, and the Tidewater area, including students who are home schooled and are otherwise eligible to receive the scholarship.
